Making Soap
Mood:  caffeinated

I'd really like to try having my own little soap business.  I've been thinking about it for a few years and it's always interested me.  Since I'm not really sure what I want to do for a career and this is what holds my current interest, I don't see why I shouldn't give it a try.  I love to have a line of doggie shampoos too.  I already use essential oils for my dogs to keep bugs off them (and to make my big dogs smell like a field of lavendar) so I was thinking about incorperating this into the shampoos.

My mom thinks it's crazy and my dad insisted that you have to have animal fat to make soap :-) but I really want to do it and i can see it going really well.  But the people around me seem to have negative ideas and don't think I'll be able to make any money at all...  I hope I don't just want to prove them wrong, but it seems like if I can get it going that it would be a great little career.  I don't want to be rich.  I just want enough money to have a little land and rescue a few animals at a time.  I wouldn't mind the rich part but I wouldn't ever be able to keep it.  It'd go to rescued animals instead.  That's usually where all my money goes anyway :-)

I'd like to mark my mood as Confused AND Caffeinated :-)
